Dear God I'm feeling lost
In this world you threw me into
I feel like I'm invisible
There's nothing I can do
Dear God I read your book
But the words just sting my heart
I'm feeling lost and lonely
And it's tearing me apart
Dear God I can't stop hiding
Your light will hurt my eyes
I hear the quiet whispers
Filling me with lies
Dear God I know you're out there
I know you feel my tears
So why am I so lonely
Alone with all my fears?
Dear God you sit there watching
As I struggle through the pain
All the razorblades are dulling
The secrets all in vain
Dear God I can't stop bleeding
But no one sees the red
I'm trapped inside still screaming
At the ringing in my head
Dear God I beg your mercy
Too tired to go on
Exhausted by my efforts
Never right and always wrong
Dear God I know you hear me
Please let me know you're there
Dear God, dear God it's painful
I'm alone and cold and scared
Dear God will you deliver me
Salvation in my wings
Lift me up to heaven
And wipe off all my sins
Dear God please grant me patience
Serenity and truth
The courage to keep going
To bring me safe to you
