MICHAEL JACKSON in the LONG RUN

E-mail

Entertainment - Celebrity News

No matter what anyone thinks of Michael Jackson, in the long run, he turned out to be a celebrity that made people feel better about themselves. No matter what kind of dilemma he was going through in his life, Michael made everyone feel okay about being themselves. The saddest aspect of the story is that the sexual molestation charges were something that changed many peoples perception of him. That's a hard thing to deal with, let alone come back from. Who could deal with that? Even Jackson's most loyal fans couldn't help that much or change his thinking on what happened. Now we know, he would never really recover from that episode in his life. Rather than deal with the issue straight on, Jackson medicated himself to manage the pain.

The second most saddest thing about Jackson is that no matter how much he acquired in life, albeit support, money, talent, etc, he was still not comfortable in his own skin.

None of this will matter in the long run. His musical brilliance and contribution to the world will outshine the man and the events in his life. Both the things that happened to him and what he managed to manufactured for himself.

The story goes that Michael Jackson did whatever he could to keep himself from looking like his father.

In the process, Michael figured out how to be an original individual on his own. Every artist needs to know when's the best time to stop.

His best dance performance by far was "The Way You Make Me Feel". That dancing is utterly AMAZING.

This may be true to an extent however enough is enough. They do not need to go on and on about it for months. They need to let it die and let him rest in peace instead of going on about his past and what he was or might have been. Who cares if he was gay, hes not longer alive to worry about it. They really need to let the poor man rest in peace.

You're in luck. The death of Walter Cronkite has pushed the medias attention away from stories about the death of Michael Jackson and onto a mutual admiration society, if you will, among newsmen and reporters honoring their own in their own profession. But don't worry. As soon as Jackson's autopsy reports are announced, the news media will be all over that like white on rice. So look at what's happening today as a temporary reprieve.
