Just two days ago I received a couple of letters. Both of them official looking, both from my favorite banking institution. (apply sarcasm here) Neither of them was a statement as originally suspected and neither of them bore any good news. Both of them however were to inform me that BofA decided to apply substantial new banking fee's to my accounts. Two out of four of my checking accounts were now going to have new fee's applied to them. One of them a bank escrow checking account was going to be assessed a monthly minimum of THIRTEEN bucks.. The other, my personal checking account, was going to be assessed $8.95 monthly. What a crock of ship. I have already been around the ringer with these people and have already been given waivers on all my accounts...
To add insult to injury if you open a new checking account online then it is free. It even comes with a free savings account. GREAT!!...... Not.............. So I closed all my accounts and went to open a new one online so I wouldn't have to worry about the fee's. I was declined for any new accounts. Wtf?? So I called the number provided and was told I wasn't declined for any negative reason but because they wanted me to verify my identity. Ok.. Fine.. Do it.. But this guy couldn't help me.. he had to transfer me to some one else. This dumb broad I got transferred to asked me every security question she could think of before she told me.. "ok let me transfer you" Are you kidding me...? If you couldn't help me why put me through the ringer just to transfer me again? So the next person comes on the line... After repeating my call in password, SSN, address and mother's maiden name for the third time she doesn't see any online application pending. Holy shippers brains these people are dumber than a box of rocks..
So the moral of the story is that Bank of America is made up of a group of morons. From the top to the bottom the shist that they do is just plain ignorant. Think about it.. Why not make my accounts free? If I open the new accounts then they have to issue me new cards, set up the online statements and not to mention take up their time talking to me.. a pissed off customer about why I should have to order all new checks. But I digress.. An hour on the phone and allot of frustration later and here I am saying that I am going to permanently put an end to my relationship with Bank of America for good. Why should I have to put up with this crap?
