LOST HORIZON filmed in MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK

I always said the 1973 remake of LOST HORIZON is the ultimate "come to California" brochure. Makes living in southern California seem like paradise. Ok, Next time Morgan is out here I want to do an experiment. Somehow, I want to get him to recreate this musical love scene from LOST HORIZON in the area in which it was filmed, Malibu State Park. I will get a beautiful actress that is similar to Liv Ullmann in persona. He will be the male counterpart. I don't expect him to deliver it with an english accent, unless he thinks he can pull it off. Otherwise his own speaking voice is fine. She should be foreign however. I definitely want both people in the scene to sing the Burt Bacharach/Hal David song. A challenge for Morgan. We will film with a playback of the isolated music track provided.

The only thing you need to do is come off soulful, reflective, seasoned and wise. You also have to sing the duet. It's a simple song. And then there's that matter of costume design aka "Shangri-La" wear. I don't see you sporting what they wore in the movie, but we'll come up with something. The girl needs to be in a nice dress though and the scene has to be shot in one day. No more than a day and a half and in a California late winter or spring.
