Health - Medical

I made it out alive and well even after everyone told me i went to the worst hospital..I went to Northside Cherokee Sunday nite with a temp of 102.5 which is not good cuz i already have medical problems. they ended up admitting me with severe pnemonia. i had it in three places and extremely bad on my left or right lung cant member which but anyways. i arrived in the er at 8pm and was admitted to a room around 330am. around 415am my mother left so she could come home and get my sister ready for school.. i was kinda scared never had to stay in a hospital before and have never had an IV. about 10 mins after my mother left the doctor came into the room to inform me they were takin me to CCU to closly monitor me since my temp was now over 103. I ended up bein in the CCU for 12 hrs and then back to a normal room. Monday nite they came in almost  every hr to do somethin including takin blood at 3am WTF!? they said i was gonna be in there til at least thursday.I ended up comin home wednesday around 1pm without the IV they thought they were gonna have to send me home with.. I thank God for watchin over me and all the people that were prayin for me..

Glad to hear Your doing Ok..
written by John Riley , October 07, 2009

I'm glad you made it out alive.. and in one piece? A nurse told my father once that he wasn't there to get any rest he was there to be monitored so not to expect to get any sleep.. and he didn't.

I got a question and it's a serious one. Are you thanking the same God for watching over you that wasn't paying well enough attention to you to prevent you from going to the hospital in the first place? Or.. Are you thanking God for showing mercy, there implying his vengeance?

You should be stronger for the experience . .

Strange how a healthy young girl like yourself gets an pneumonia that severe at this time of year? Warm weather coming right out of summer. It's not the middle of winter. Geezzz ? Wonder were you got it from?

As for John Riley's comment. I have to concur. I think it's a wonderful thing to be thankful and to thank god for the good things that happens to one. HOWEVER, I often hear survivors of like airline crashes for example, say, "God was on my side that day". My response to that is well, if God were on your side, what does that say for the people who didn't survive the disaster? That God wasn't on theirs that day?

I think we all have free will and our thoughts put us in and out of situations we get ourselves into. I think we have to be protective of ourselves and take care of who we are.

If a plane crashes and some people survive and some people don't, I don't believe it's because God wanted it that way or not.
