Welcome to OpinionatedThought.com where anyone with an opinion can have that voice heard. The main concern I hear from users is that they are just not that opinionated. They read the articles that have been posted and think they would have to write hardcore stuff on deep issues. This could not be farther from the truth. This website is for anyone, anywhere to post anything they want at anytime. And I do mean anything; just look at all the sections we have listed. And we are willing to list more. If you don't see a section and/or category that fits what you want to post then let me know (via the contact page) and I will add it for you. All that I ask is that you log in and go to ‘submit your opinion' and view the category drop down list before you email me.

Why do I need to register?

So we can block you if you constantly post articles of filth or hate.

Are you going to spam me?

No. We don't even know how. However, at a later date we may decide to do a monthly newsletter. If we do you will first be asked if even want to recieve it.

What's in it for me?

An audience, genuine feedback, and a free profile. Also, any and all users of opinionatedthought will get a free iadvertiseme.com profile when that site launches later this year.

Is it true that anyone can post anything?

No. We will not tolerate filth, hate mongering, calls to violence or spam. If you feel an article goes against one of these core principles then flag it. We will then read it and render a decision.

How do I post an article?

Register for an account and click on "Submit Your Opinion" under the User Menu. Type or copy and paste your thoughts into the text box and then click save.

How do I edit my article?

Log In. Find your article and open it up. Just above the title of your article on the left hand side is an icon that looks like a piece of paper with a pencil over it. Click on that icon. After you are done making your changes do not forget to hit save.

How do I add video to my article?

To add a video to the article click on the AVR Media button that appears just below the text editor. Type in your videos url. Then click on the Insert button. This will place a line of code in the text where your video will appear once you save the article.

I uploaded a pic but I can't see it?

Give us a day or two to approve profile pictures.

What is going on with those pictures on the right hand side?

If it makes us laugh we resize the picture to 300x250 and add it to the rotation. If you have something you think would make us laugh, Re-size it to 300x250 and send it on over to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . If you saw something you found offensive, get over it. It changes every time you refresh the page anyways.

You guys suck, Where can I send you some hate mail?

Landing pages & Destination URLs

Ads that contain a URL or domain in the body must link to that same URL or domain.
All users must be sent to the same landing page when the ad is clicked.
Landing pages that generate a pop-up (including "pop-overs" and "pop-unders") when a user enters or leaves the page are not allowed.
Landing pages cannot use "fake" close behavior (ie. when a user clicks the 'close' icon on the page, the page should close down and no other behavior should result).

Ad Copy

Ads must clearly state and represent the company, product, or brand that is being advertised.

Language and image content

Provocative images will not be accepted.
Ads may not contain, facilitate or promote adult content, including nudity, sexual terms and/or images of people in positions or activities that are excessively suggestive or sexual.
Ads may not contain, facilitate or promote offensive, profane, vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate language.Ads may not contain, facilitate or promote defamatory, libelous, slanderous and/or unlawful content.

Prohibited Content

We do not accept advertising referencing, facilitating or prompting the following:

Tobacco products
Ammunition, firearms, paintball guns, bb guns, or weapons of any kind
Gambling, including without limitation any online casino, sports books, bingo, or poker
Software downloads, freeware, or shareware
Scams, illegal activity and/or illegal contests, pyramid schemes, or chain letters
Adult toys, videos, or other adult products
Inflammatory religious content
Politically religious agendas and/or any known associations with hate, criminal and/or terrorist activities
Hate speech, whether directed at an individual or a group, and whether based upon the race, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation or language of such individual or group
Content that advocates against any organization, person, or group of people, with the exception of candidates running for public office

In both ad text and image, you must not include any content that may be deemed as infringing upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary right, or that is deceptive or fraudulent.
Advertiser must have intellectual property rights to the creative and be permitted to display such creative as advertising

Spam

No ad may contain, facilitate or promote 'spam' or other advertising or marketing content that violates applicable laws, regulations or industry standards.
