I hate the gov't
I hate the gov't when it comes to disability! It takes so dang long for them to decide if someone is disabled and if they are gonna give u disability and medicare.. The people who dont need it but get it because they are obese, mnority or jus old get it but people who actually need it have to fight. wth?!
Finally get to go see a doc after 3 months of waiting so they can take x-rays and do a physical and talk to a shrink to make sure i really am disabled and make sure its not all in my head! Seriously? i would not be makin up bein disabled at the age of 22!
Anyways.. i hate our medical system!

My father had to wait six months to get his disability when he finally decided to file. And he has been disabled since his teens..

Wow, I knew your father had been disabled, but I had forgotten it was since his teens ?? What can you say, it's the system. Everybody goes through it. Yeah, it's a pain but ultimately it's about the person getting the disability that he or she needs, right? It's called sticky red tape. Nobody likes it, but as long as he has disability, there will come a time when he has to go through what it takes to maintain it. I know, because I went through the same thing with my Mother. And yeah, I also know that no matter how long you've been with medicare or someone like it, there will always be a new regime that makes old reliable customers wait to get what for a while was very common and easy to get, now hard. Maddening, certainly. Luckily, it's only once a year for most patients.
