More on BUD and BRETT types

Rants & Raves - Raves

Someone asked me recently . . . .

"Can you have a "bud" and a "brett" type person within the same individual? Can you also become a positive person or are you just born a negative person?"

That's an excellent question. The answer is although the BUD and BRETT types work very differently, the effect that they leave on a person is the same. In short, BUD and BRETT are different sides of the SAME COIN, but, like I said, they work very differently on how they effect a person who falls for them. The BUD type is kind of what you see is what you get. The BRETT type is the "charmer" and thus passive aggressive. Both types give off the impression that they really "have it", more so than people who really do have it. Appearance is VERY important to BRETT types, where as on the surface BUD types don't really care. You're in BIG trouble if you give either type your heart or you get into that thing of caring too much. The sad part is that BUD and BRETT types are incapable of really loving anyone, although on the surface they seem like they could love better than anyone. That's the tricky part of this. They leave you hanging on thinking there's going to be something more down the road. They're also brilliant at making it seem like it's always YOU who has the problem rather than them. They're very skilled at that. They also give the impression that they "care" sometimes and you're dumb to fall for it. They're very good at making you think they do care or they could care, but in reality, they never will all that much, if really at all for too long. In short, the BUD and BRETT types need people to do for them. As long as you're of use to them you can have a part in their life. The minute you quit being "of use", they're done with you.

Yes, the world is made up of people generally born Positive or Negative, BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND that In the way I'm meaning it and in this particular case, it doesn't necessarily mean that POS is better than NEG or visa versa. It's like a battery charge type of thing where POSITIVES are drawn to NEGATIVES and visa versa. Doesn't mean that POS is necessarily more positive or negative than a NEG anymore than it means that a NEG is more negative or positive than a POS. Does that make sense? It's a law of energy and attraction and it's INVISIBLE TO THE EYE.

The mistake people make with the POS and NEG thing is thinking that it means one is more positive thinking or negative thinking than the other. It doesn't mean that at all. It also doesn't mean that one is better than the other. Like I said, it's an ENERGY type thing you're born with, but it doesn't mean that one is better than the other. We all have free will and choice. That doesn't change.

People in General..
written by John Doe , August 19, 2009

I don't like being around negative people. It just gets to be so emotionally burdensome. The constant nay saying that is meant to bring a person down is just to much for me. Maybe I'm a weak man? But I can't carry around that type of personality.

Life is what you make of it. And if you have a negative view of everything then that is what it is. To you. On the other hand, if every thing is great and beautiful and you see the positive in everything and everyone then that is what it is. To you. Wouldn't you rather live a great and beautiful life?

I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY

I knew I'd be misunderstood with this and here it is. The positive/negative thing I'm talking about has nothing to do with one person being optimistic and the other being pessimistic. That is not what I'm taking about. The POSITIVE and NEGATIVE thing that I'm talking about pertains to energy more than it does to the Webster definition of the words. A better way to describe it (when it comes to people) might be CROSSES and LINES. Perhaps saying "crosses and lines" instead of "positive and negative" wouldn't get everyone confused. But then you wouldn't use that term to describe one end of a battery as opposed to the other end on one. Suffice to say that POSITIVE (crosses) need to be connected to a NEGATIVE (lines) in order to work. This has NOTHING to do with one being a "downer" and the other being "cheery". That's an entirely different thing. This is an energy thing that applies to people in the way a battery would in a car of in a flashlight.

Things get mixed up, misunderstood and confused when you use the words POSITIVE and NEGATIVE in this sense, mainly because those words have been so defined in our culture as meaning one thing as opposed to another. But in reality, that's exactly what's going on here.

Let's just leave that at that. There's too much to take in and to understand for a forum such as this. It's complexed and I'm still learning about this stuff.
