Really I do! I have a knack for screwing up with the ladies. I tend to tank relationships before they have a chance to start, even ones that I’m not committed to yet! This has become an art form of such and usually it’s the approach where I fumble things the most. I don’t understand how I do it but I do realize that I have a problem.

Sometimes I wonder how I screwed it up this time. Was I to interested or was I not interested enough? Was I a gentleman or should I have been a bit more vulgar? Whatever the reason I know it wasn’t for being too cheap! I am a firm believer that if you don’t like something or a situation you must make a change or you are part of the problem. So I changed my ways. I actually cracked open my wallet, brushed off the dust and paid for everything everywhere. I promise I was not my normal cheap ass self. I do realize there is no romance without the finance. But as a disclaimer I only made it through the first date (one afternoon) so I didn’t actually spend that much, but still. I was planning a semi-pricey second date but fortunately for my wallet she cancelled before that one.

Sometimes I feel like I’m chasing a fairy tale looking for women that do not exist. Do I just get stupid around pretty women? Or is the question how stupid do I get? But then by sheer luck I find one super smart, independent, stable, self supporting sexy female that appears to be interested in me. Appearances can be deceiving. The girl that inspired me to share my thoughts on this matter was of particular promise. In my opinion she was aesthetically perfect with the correct political bias and an appetite for social debates. What more could you ask for?

Most of my interactions with the opposite sex do not evolve into any type of real relationship, let’s be honest. Besides having a short fuse for games and drama in general I may be giving up to easily. I suppose the chase is part of the game but it is not the part I enjoy. I like girls that like me, I lose interest real quick when it appears there is no interest.

So my next plan of attack is going to be implemented in less than four days! I think I’m going to approach finding another girlfriend like any other sales job. After all it’s a numbers game right? Well, I’m going to get my numbers up and see what transpires.

So until I find someone worth the effort I’m just going to stick with my flirty friends, my beneficial friends and try to be happy with what I have.
