I always laugh when I hear the left crying "scare tactics". it is the TRUTH they are afraid of. The nazi's took over the car industry, the press, the insurance, all before they took over healthcare and socialised the entire government much like Obama and Bush have started here. We are fast becoming a Nanny state and government will control your life from cradle to grave. As someone who has no insurance and has diabetes with complications I will tell you that none of you has the right to take the care away from my father in order to provide it to me. To label my arguments about libertarianism "fear-mongering, or hyperbolic soundbytes" is not debating the facts. Income redistribution is totally Un-American, you want to take what someone else has rightfully earned and distribute it to those who could not or would not earn it for themselves thus ensuring EVERYONE gets substandard care. Ever wonder why people from all over the world come to america for health care. We have the best system now, but not for long. Yes, if i dont get coverage it is true I may die soon. But don't you dare use my life and my situation to sell your socialist agenda. The public option is no option at all, it is the government take-over of healthcare bottomline. It will kill all competition. So all of the Lies the Obama admin. puts out will be challenged just as the Bush lies have been challenged. I suggest you do some research on the Bilderberg group to see who is really pulling the strings here. Both Bush and Obama get their marching orders from this group. This is not a republican/democratic issue as many would have you believe, but it is an American issue. Just as the proposed new FCC tax on talk radio will kill free-speech on the airwaves. No radio station can afford a tax of 100% of its operating budget.

Of course you rest your case, you never had one but someone else's in the first place. any 4 year old can cut and paste an article. It takes an adult to have a debate, which you clearly are not. It's called Medicare, VA disability, care for seniors, etc. It was Roosevelt who started that 50 years ago. " Medicare is bankrupt. Expanding it to cover everyone bankrupts the country. Most people don't know what socialism is. The Nazi's weren't a socialist group. That was a dictatorship. Get your facts straight." Go read a history book. The nazi's started out as a socialist party and then became a dictatorship. The same path we are on. "The people who don't have money are the ones who are protesting health care reform. On average they tend to be religious, superstitious, feed on disinformation and fear and get the bulk of their information from Rush Limbaugh. Bill O'Reilly and the Enquirer. BUSH was a no good piece of crap as well. I'm not happy with anything he did in office and won't defend him or his lies. And I believe there were 0 WMD's found. "Clinton posted a budget surplus before he left office and bush spent money like he could print it" The federal reserve prints the money. The Fed reserve is a privately owned institution and not part of the government. Obama is not doing any better, now with a 9 trillion dollar deficit to hand over to our kids and grand kids. 1 trillion is 2000 billion. his spending has already eclipsed anything bush dreamed of. "Only in America does the prison population get better health care then most tax paying citizens " And lets not leave out those stimulus checks paid out to convicts. better known as cash for convicts. "and an entire political party can argue against health care reform with a straight face." The republicans are not arguing against "reform", just partisan reform. It doesnt matter anyway, the dems will use the "nuclear" option to pass what they want. "When we have people losing their homes due to medical bills and people losing all coverage when they lose their jobs.." Easily fixed with a few laws passed to regulate the insurance industry, a complete government takeover is unnecessary and will certainly add to our out of control deficit.

" Because the government has no role but consumer protection in a free market society. A complete takeover of 1/7th of the economy is a dangerous power grab.
