One Account, So Many Names..

This is a neat and niffty place to express one's views. But with potential employers snooping through facebook and myspace and any other website they can find that may have your name on it. What's to stop them from looking on here, disagreeing with me and having my opinion adversely effect your life? I don't know, slim to none - But why take the chance. That is why I post under a false name.I started off with John Doe and started to feel like John Doe was no good. So I went to John Smith. People started commenting on the name change so I started playing with it and it became John Smith Jr. After that I added Riley for some reason so it became John Riley Smith Jr. I thought perfect. Just John Riley it is. Done. But then someone went and changed their name to John Riley Smith Sr. So I had to change again. And now I become Joal Riggins.

I admire your honest but . . .

Isn't Joal suppose to be spelled "Joel"? Nobody can get away with names like "John Doe" or "John Smith". Both of them are pseudonyms meaning "the everyman". It's like a hooker referring to all of her clients as a "john".

As for facebook and myspace, one has to add newcomers on as "friends" in order for them to view any information on their page, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I'm just me, Cliff Carson. I have nothing to hide and I stand by everything I say. Whenever I've crossed a line or I'm wrong about something, which can happen from time to time, it's no big deal to apologize or recant something I've said.
It's not my objective or goal in life to piss everyone off around me, nor am I the type that gets off on being on asshole to everyone.

There are alot of people out there who are damaged and don't want to fix what's wrong. They lack incite about themselves and usually spend most of their time finding someone else to blame for their misfortune. They absolve themselves of all responsibility and blame anything and anyone they can for why things went wrong in their lives. When these "damaged" people talk, they usually project what's true about themselves onto whomever they're chewing out.

I can't change anyone else, but I can change myself, that i can do.

I like the funny spelling..

Myspace you have to set your account to private. Facebook you can view just by being in the same network. like I am in the Atlanta Ga network. Just about every body is in their local network. It's funny cause it makes it hard to search for friends from other locals that I've lived..

actually on facebook u have to be friends with the person to be able to view their whole profile.. at least thats what i have noticed.. i tried to look at a old friends from HS and couldnt unless i add em
