I Will Never Ever Ever Ever Do This Again...

Of course I have said that before. Getting burned stings and I just can't stand it anymore. No more mister nice guy, I don't care who you are. From now, brokerage agreements will be signed in advance with cash in hand.
One of my fathers friends has been kicking tires for a few months now. Contemplating sending over a few extreme low ball offers here and there. He wouldn't even provide a proof of funds or pre approval letter. So in no way did I think he was serious. In my poor judgment and on my fathers vouching for this guy I never required a singed brokerage agreement. I gave him copies of the agreements filled out and waiting for his signature but never pressed the issue. He was a friend of my fathers, an honor to his word was a problem I didn't think I had.
But today I find out he is closing on a home next week. I am so angry I can't even think straight. And my father is trying to stick up for the guy telling me how bad he feels for cutting me out of the deal. Are you F878jking kidding me!!@@??? I'm so angry I can't even finish this post...a;lkvn;alnkvqe;jklr v;erjkvqerg
NEVER, and I do mean NEVER AGAIN will anyone get in my car to look at so much as a blade of grass with out a signed brokerage agreement. I don't care who's friend you are. I knew better and this is my own fault, that's what pisses me off the most.

So how long are you planning to beat yourself up over this aka, be bummed out, stay angry, be depressed, etc?
What's your time limit for a bummer of this magnitude? A night, day, week, hour? What does it take to get over this? A drink, a joint, good sex, masturbation, a movie, a TV show, good news of some kind or a good nights sleep?
I'm asking you this, because i had a bummer of my own today. One that hasn't gone away and is keeping me angry.

Don't fool yourself. YOU DID LET HIM ALTER YOUR MOOD. Don't say you didn't. You're not made of iron. You may have altered the ability to stop feeling, but that's about all you've done.

The amount of ass holishness that you are just amazes me time and time again. Do you practice being a prick? Or does it just come naturally for you? Of course it altered my mood, I wrote the article didn't I? But I'm not going to sit around and stomp my feet and piss and moan about it, What good does that do? I vented, got it all out and moved on. Simple as that. Now can you try not to be an asshole, asshole?

You were the one given that distinction. The supreme honor of being dubbed His Royal Assholiness. Shall I name the names of your loyal subjects? Hello Luke and Angela . . . .
BUT, if all it takes to get that kind of anger out of your system is to sit and write it all down somewhere, then you're doing better than most people when it comes to processing anger and not allowing it to get the best of you. But then, you also have surprised me as to how well you could handle tragedy. Seriously. I remember the time when someone broke into your truck and stole all your tools. Under the circumstances you took that extremely well. In fact, one of the first impressions I have about you is how calm, well spoken and composed you could remain under pressure. In person, you do show remarkable restraint and always have. In emails? Well, that's another story.
